Mayas Mexican Bar and Grill in Lafayette

The food is amazing and the portions are very hearty. The staff is always in a good mood and they’re always working hard to ensure good customer service, by far this is me and my husband’s favorite Mexican restaurant.

This place is severly short staffed. Our waitress seemed like she didnt like white people, and we barely saw her when there was like 2 tables being served. Another gentleman had to refill our drinks and serve our food. THAT guy was awesome if you do go here either get him as a server or be a mexican.

Staff was kind of friendly... Food wasn't amazing but it was pretty good! I ordered the shrimp, chicken and steak fajitas and there was definitely enough to take home. It was good. If you're craving Mexican than your should definitely try this place

First time here since changes. Service was AWESOME and food was DELICIOUS!!Food was out fast and same waiter as Maya's, love him. Hes always so quick and tentative!Noted on receipt, "Great food and Wonderful Service" We'll be back for sure!

Fresh ingredients, HUGE portions, very friendly staff. Good value for the money.

Everytime I go the do not disappoint. I get the chicken fajitas or something similar because it's my favorite and my boyfriend gets rice or nachos covered in queso with chicken and steak. It cost about $40 eat here for the two of us and we always leave full with To-go boxes.

We’ve recently moved to Lafayette and we have been looking for a good Mexican Restaurant and we’ve had no luck. So it’s our first time here and let me tell you... DAMN it was good. It was so good that the little rough service didn’t bother us too much. It was nice to sit and eat with my fiancé without having the server repeatedly at our table. Will be coming again soon. Maybe weekly😝

This place is no doubt one of the best place in the area. Always when I visit this place I am awfully satisfied. They maintain their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.

Great Ritas and Fresh Food!

My absolute favorite restaurant in the area. Great food and drinks, excellent prices, and amazing customer service. I've eaten here dozens of times, have hosted multiple family and office parties, and I've never been disappointed. I give all the credit to the owners and staff who work together as an efficient team to create such a satisfying experience. I would visit this place every day if I could.

Food was pretty great.. service was terrible.. we were the only table for a majority of the time and our drinks were all empty, chips empty, ..and we had to get our own to go boxes.. she was so busy going to the front desk to watch videos on her phone.. portion sizes are huge..

Now I love this place. People here are friendly and great at what they do. I love the big burrito and the chimichanga with rice and beans and with the flour tortillas. Now if your looking to get a great buzz then this is the place. Go for happy hour here. I believe it's between 2-6. Buy one Margarita get one free. They are definitely not stingy here with alcohol but drink responsible and have designated driver because you will be leaving intoxicated. Lol

Okay, once was know as mayas. Which was best spot in Lafayette. New owners new name. Basically same menu but raised prices and not as good. Which I would be okay with if they had different items. I now drive to Franklin for Mayas food

Great food ,excellent service ,tasty margaritas.they make their tortillas fresh in the restaurant! And the place is immaculate. Absolutely nothing to complain about here .I'm glad to finaly have a good Mexican restaurant in this town!
